Hedweld’s New Advanced Manufacturing Facility Open

On September 7, 2016 Hedweld celebrated the grand opening of a new manufacturing facility that will drive innovation and advanced manufacturing in the Hunter Region. St Philip’s iSTEM students receive awards from Dr Ian Chubb

St Philip’s iSTEM students receive awards from Dr Ian Chubb (Former Chief Scientist of Australia) Four Year 10 iSTEM students were each awarded a Medal of Engineering Excellence by Dr Ian Chubb (former Chief Scientist of Australia) during his visit to the Hunter in August 2015. Less Talking, More Making – Design Anthology

Everyone is innovating. Or are they? In his recent article on innovation theatre Tim Kastelle described what innovation theatre looks like in business and a range of symptoms of innovation theatre. His description is eye-opening – you may recognise some of the indicators and symptoms in your own organisation. He identifies talk about innovation, training programs, meetings, sessions and tools.
